Finding the Job you Really Want....................
On Wed, Feb 27, 2008 - I was invited to make a presentation at "The Mentoring Partnership" through JVS addressed to New Immigrants.Known as the "Immmigrant Coach" for 2 reasons because I:
1) am an Immigrant myself and
2) Coach Immigrants
So, I made the presentation and talked about the following topics:
Challenges faced by New Immigrants
Creative Solutions and Methodologies used to overcome them
How to create the right Mindset for Success
These were a couple of responses I received..........................
It was eye-opening and fabulous presentation. You were ROCKING. As an immigrant I landed in Canada about 11 months back and I could relate myself so much to the different initial phase you had passed thorough and rightly presentated too. I am impressed by you. You are different - JP
Your focus on the Law of Attraction, mindset, meaning and the importance of feeling are also topics that our job search workshops do not cover in detail. Your passion for your work really came across and of course leant extra validity to what you had to say - MC
